This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Karim is a 17 year old high school student. In his engaging talk, Karim's not only outlining why climate change matters for his generation but also how he believes his peers can become activists in the fight against global warming.
Karim Nassef comes from an Egyptian / American family who live in Bonn due to it being the headquarters of UNFCCC. Karim and his brother attend Bonn International School, where Karim has proved excellence not only academically, but also as a student leader. He is President of the Student Council, he co-chairs the school's Model United Nations club, he acts in school theatre productions and participates in sports. Karim graduates from the school at the end of this academic year.
