Svetlana Alekseeva used to be called names like "Freddy Krueger" and "Frankenstein" because of the burns that covered her body.
She grew up in a remote Russian town with an alcoholic mother. One day her mum was out drinking and Sveta got caught in a fire that burned nearly half her body.
When she turned 18, she chose the nickname "Charcoal" and moved to Moscow. She now has an Instagram account - https://www.instagram.com/o2her/ - where she posts photos of her scars to help others feel positive about their bodies.
